Few nice walks, especially when spring is blooming

The Heathcote National Park is a great place to go for riding or walking as it has a lot of bush tracks snaking their way through the bush. Due to the hilly terrain there are some places with fantastic views.

The Pipeline trail is a great walk or ride from the suburbs to Woronora dam, and the dam has some great views.

Heathcote National Park is unspectacular but nice enough and placed within reach of transport on Sydney's southern edge. There's a few swimmable pools and a small lake.

Nice walk. The river is nice but was a bit stagnant when we were there - not much rain lately. Tracks are easy. It's not terribly wild but still a pleasant diversion. We saw a nice tree and bought one for our garden. I suspect there are nicer places further in.

Day out, bush walking, family day out. Good fun, barbeque, kids fun.
